iPad

So yesterday apple released their “latest creation” called the iPad. I first of all think the iPad is pretty much like an iPod touch. Same layout as far as apps go with software from the iPhone just on a bigger scale. Nothing is too spectacular about it. No camera, no iChat, and no usb slots, etc.  Overall though I think it’s a great reader. the ibooks app seems to be really cool, and web viewing looks a little nicer with the bigger screen. Another thing I like is the fact that you can get the iWork apps for $10 a piece which I feel is very cheap for creating power-points, documents, and spreadsheets. The whole 3G thing is pretty cool as well. Overall I think it’s a nice tool and would be very nice to have. But in the end it really is just a big iPod touch. With that note being said whenever they release a new update for it i would suggest getting it. I’m guessing the update might include a camera, ichat, iLife bundle, usb slots, and a bigger hard drive. If this were to happen I think it would be a more wise decision if the the price stayed, starting at $500. And if your really going to by the most expensive one for $829, you might as well go buy a new macbook.
